Introduction
Welcome to the Limber User Guide. If you can't find the information you're looking for or have questions for us, join us on Discord or just send us an email.
If you're an experienced user of Limber v1, you might want to check out brief summaries of what's new and changed.
Installation
You can either install Limber using the aescripts manager app or you can download it and move the Limber 2.jsxbin file to your ScriptUI Panels folder, located here:
Mac: Applications/Adobe After Effects <version>/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels
Windows: Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects <version>\Support Files\Scripts\ScriptUI Panels
Go to the General
tab of After Effects’ Settings and make sure that Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network
is checked on. We also recommend you uncheck Show Scripting Progress Dialog
.
Launch Limber in After Effects by clicking Window > Limber (you might need to scroll down).
Licensing and Trial Mode
Limber will run in Trial Mode for 10 days, or until you enter a license code at launch. The Trial version cannot duplicate or paste limbs and cannot generate Locators. It is limited to a maximum of four limbs per comp. It can browse the Limb Library but it cannot download the limbs.
When you purchase a license, you’ll receive an email containing a license code. Copy the entire license code, launch Limber, paste the license code in to the registration window and click OK.
System Requirements
Limber is compatible with After Effects 2018 and newer.
